In the story By Any Other Name two little Indian girls go to an Anglo-Indian school in India and they face racism. This becomes a problem for them and it is still a problem for people all around the world. I have friends who deal with this problem and I have had some occasions that were similar but not as server. I can easily understand the difficulties and hardship they have to deal with and I can understand why the mother was disappointed to discover racism in the school because she wanted her children to get a good education. I think it is a sad thing to deal with racism to the point where you have to leave the school when you are the majority and the minority tells you what to do.
